  • Lead the logistics and coordination of RSC events
  • Oversee procurement of event facilities and services for 100+ events annually
  • Spearhead the use and improvement of event management systems
  • Manage budgets and track expenditure for multiple projects (~£300k)
  • Provide expert advice on event proposals and delivery
  • Influence key decision-makers to engage community support
  • Stay updated on emerging event industry trends and technologies

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in the events industry with a track record of event and project management
  • Experience managing a small team and coordinating an events programme
  • Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong procurement and negotiation experience
  • Proficiency with events technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in budget management
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence with IT solutions

What We Offer:

  • Chance to contribute to the advancement of chemical sciences
  • Professional development and growth opportunities
  • Involvement in diverse and impactful events, from networking to large congresses
  • National and international travel opportunities
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements

If you're passionate about events management, have a keen eye for detail, and want to make a difference in the world of chemical sciences, we'd love to hear from you!
