“The opportunity to work at Redx has furthered not only my ability but also my interest in practical chemistry and the theory behind it. Also, the friendly working environment allows you to integrate quickly and feel part of the team, regardless of prior experience.”

New faces appear all the time and one quickly becomes a valued asset to the group.”

Chemistry Team Leader
“Redx Oncology is a young company with a highly motivated workforce. There is an open and friendly culture which allows people to ask the difficult questions and to propose innovative solutions. The best thing about managing one of the projects here is working on something worthwhile which will hopefully lead to an improvement in healthcare for future generations of cancer patients”

Head of Project Management
"Having worked at Redx Pharma for over two years I have seen remarkable changes as we have moved from a small (<10 employees) biotech to a fully-fledged pharmaceutical company (>100). Personally I have had been able to take on more diverse tasks and develop more at Redx than at any other point in my career. I think the best thing about Redx is the unique culture which encourages everyone to contribute and to live up to our core values of being: deal focussed; lean and disruptive"

Senior Scientist
"I joined Redx in January 2011 as part of a very small group of people working on the anti-viral neuraminidase project, which was one of two projects running at the time in the Merseybio Incubator. Initially all projects were chemistry based on site with no biological, analytical or pharmacology support, so as a result this was outsourced. I have enjoyed seeing how the groups have expanded in all directions from these beginnings both in Anti-Infectives and much more so at Oncology and importantly been involved in their set up, therefore bringing this work in house. Things have changed a lot from the time when Derek came in to help our small groups with chemistry problems every Friday morning! Helping in the initial set up of Dotmatics was extremely challenging at times doing this alongside lab work but I believe I benefitted from this. The main thing I have enjoyed about been with Redx, almost since its beginnings, is the great diversity of my role and the amount of things you are able to get involved in as part of a uniquely rapidly growing organisation. Currently, the anti-viral project has expanded dramatically and I am much more responsible for organising workloads and training of new staff. I am hoping to grow within this role and do well, to help ensure the future success of the business"
