Job Details
Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Contract: 3 months (likely to be extended)
Location: Loudwater, High Wycombe
Salary: £12.54 per hour
Working pattern: 40 hours per week
This is a great opportunity for a graduate in a Microbiology or related degree looking for their first role in the industry.
A hands on role to sample, test, document and report on the hygienic performance of the machine fleet out in the field and within laboratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Microbiological sampling and tests on existing Coffee dispensing equipment out in UK markets to ensure they meet the highest standards for the coffee industry - legal hygiene compliance.
- Supporting methodologies and procedures to evaluate for food hygiene aspects, document and qualify technologies in each of our equipment categories as required.
- Planning sample plans and routes with technical manager to drive efficiencies through test locations whilst meeting sample plan criteria for 2025.
Candidate Requirements:
- BSc/MSc Degree in Microbiology or related degree.
- Laboratory testing outside of university is desirable but not essential.
- Proficient with Microsoft packages.
- Good level of planning and organisation skills.
- Good level of communication skills.
- Full, clean driving license.
