Freelance Question Writers – Subject Matter Experts

Medify is recruiting multiple motivated and passionate chemistry specialists with excellent written communication and pedagogy skills to write multiple choice questions on a flexible freelance basis. 

The Role

In this role, you will:

• Devise scientific passages based on your chemistry expertise.
• Write multiple choice questions to test comprehension of your passage.
• Craft detailed explanations to explain the logic and science in a way that significantly contributes to learning.

Pay, Hours and Location

• This role will be paid at £20 per hour with opportunity for increase in compensation based on performance. 
• You would need to be available to work a minimum of 8 to 10 hours per month. Once trained, you will have autonomy over your schedule, increasing or decreasing your output according to your availability.
• This is a fully remote position for which you will need a computer and internet access.

Requirements

• Applicants must be graduates of chemistry. Students studying for an integrated master’s degree are welcome to apply.
• Candidates should have a thorough understanding of first year chemistry, regardless of their specialism.
• Excellent command of the English language and the ability to articulate thought processes clearly and effectively is essential.
• Tutoring experience and / or previous non-academic writing experience is desirable but not essential.

• Those who pass the trial will be paid for their trial questions after required amendments have been made. Successful applicants will be trained to write test content to our specifications, and commissioned for their first assignment.
