Salary - £40,000 - £55,000

SRG are working with a well-respected, global company who develop a wide range of speciality chemicals and additives. Based in the West Cheshire area, they have recently started hiring for a new member of their close-knit compliance team. The role would sit between various R&D teams at the company and report directly into the CTO. We are looking for someone with extensive experience working with analytical techniques such as NMR, GC, LC-MS, FTIR and UV to name a few. This opportunity would suit someone with a strong track record working in a strictly regulated laboratory in the chemicals industry (preferably GLP).
Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (increasing by 1 every 2 years of service up to 28); pension - up to 5% matched or 10% employee, 15% company; private healthcare; up to 30% bonus; regular pay reviews
Role Description
- Developing and validating analytical methods with techniques such as NMR, GC, LC-MS, FTIR, UV and physical testing
- Performing projects under GLP guidelines
- Writing up reports and study plans under relevant SOP's
- Supporting product applications under REACH regulations
- Liaising with various teams across the company in a range of industries (performance chemicals, surfactants, fuel specialities)
- Helping support with technical queries on company products
Requirements
- A strong track record of working in a strictly regulated laboratory environment, preferable GLP
- Extensive experience in analytical chemistry with method development and validation
- Hands on experience with chromatography and physical testing laboratory techniques
- Experience working with product submissions for GLP studies
- Degree in chemistry, preferably with an analytical chemistry focus
- Full right to work in the UK
