Quality Control Analyst
Job Details
Job title: Quality control analyst (Microbiology).
Location: Liverpool, England.
Contract: Short term contract (3- month FTC).
Pay rate: Competitive.
SRG are working with a global pharmaceutical and health care brand to find a temporary microbiologist to work at their vibrant site in Liverpool. As a quality control analyst, you would be responsible for environmental monitoring of pack room and other controlled areas. This would include microbiological water and drug testing. This role would be perfect for anyone with some microbiology experience, either from academia or industry, with a continuous growth mindset. Industry experience preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Microbiological testing of water systems and drug products.
- Perform Microbiological testing on samples from raw materials, In-Process, Release and stability
- Book in and control of samples
- Work with the team and QC Manager to organise work
- Perform support activities required for the function of the laboratory
- Environmental monitoring of unclassified production area pack rooms.
- Follow established procedures for performing activities in the laboratory
- Follow Good Quality Control Laboratory Practices (GLP) at all times and ensures the work area they are responsible for is maintained in a clean and tidy state adhering to the 6S established for the area.
Candidate Requirements:
- Understanding of GMP / EP requirements and Regulators Expectations.
- Degree Level Qualification in Mircobiology and demonstarted competancy within a QC Laboratory
