QA required for role in Birmingham. Previous experience within quality assurance will be necessary

Quality Assurance Officer (Chemicals)

Birmingham (commutable from Dudley, West Bromwich and surrounding areas)

Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

SRG is working with a leading manufacturer of speciality chemicals and intermediates across a range of industries. Based in the Birmingham area, they have recently started hiring for a new member of their team quality team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in quality assurance who is looking to expand their skillset. This role would best suit someone with experience in the chemicals industry in QMS, ISO9001 and CAPAs.



Role Description

• Working closely with the quality manager across multiple aspects of quality assurance (QA)
• Working on and maintaining QMS projects across multiple teams in the business
• Report writing and route cause analysis of quality investigations
• Data handling and electronic document control
• Providing training on company procedures for other members of staff
• Managing the company Kosher accreditation
• Working with computer systems like Q-Pulse and SAGE X3

Requirements

• Degree in chemistry or similar STEM discipline preferred
• Experience in a chemicals quality assurance role essential
• Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS)
• Experience in root cause analysis
• Ability to travel or relocate to the Birmingham area daily
• Full right to work in the UK.
