SRG are currently recruiting for a Compliance Sampling Technician to join an excellent water company based in South Wales. This is currently a 6-month contract paying £13.60 per hour, starting ASAP

Role:
  • Show knowledge and competency in taking both regulatory and non‐regulatory samples
  • Deal with customers
  • Deliver the sampling and monitoring programmes
  • Take regulatory and non-regulatory samples
  • Identify and escalate issues found at sites
  • Work closely with Sampling Co-ordinators
  • Participate in out of hours standby rotas
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately
  • Ensure that all field test equipment is maintained
  • Responsible for checking vehicles, organising servicing, and ensuring they are road-worthy at all times



Person:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Driving license is essential
  • Science/ engineering/ related background would be desirable
  • Happy to work weekends
