This is an exciting opportunity for an established chem-informatician or an individual with a chemistry background and python coding experience who is looking to make the move into a more IT related role, while maintaining use of their core chemistry skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have a chemistry related degree, experience with python and RDkit or similar chemistry libraries. However, if you have a chemistry background and coding experience you should still apply.

Scitegrity is a small, well established supplier of software for regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. We specialize in making chemical regulations easily searchable via chemical structure.

Our solutions are used by many of the world's top pharmaceutical companies, CROs and specialist chemical suppliers to ensure compliance with complex and chemical regulations globally. This includes trade compliance, controlled drugs and precursors, ozone depleting, export-controlled chemicals, assessing the abuse liability of drug candidates, predicting hazard risks and more.

We are looking for someone to join our team to help develop and maintain our solutions and to interact with existing and potential customers. Being part of a small team will mean you get to learn many new and varied skills, ranging from legislation domain knowledge, software development, data analytics and technical sales.

Although our offices are based in Kent, UK, this is a full time 100% remote working role from within the UK, with flexible working hours.

What You’ll Do:

• Support and develop new functionality and versions of our applications
• Help research, analyse, convert and encode new chemical legislation into computational formats. This requires a good knowledge of chemistry.
• Support of existing customers questions and queries.

What You Should Have:

• Degree in a chemistry related subject (BSc level or higher or equivalent experience)
• Exposure to software coding or scripting languages such as python or JavaScript and ideally some experience with chemistry toolkits such as RDKit.
• Fluency in English

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time.
Pay: £29,000.00-£58,000.00 per year + bonuses
