As a GMP Inspector in the Certification of Substances Department (DCEP), you will:

  • regularly prepare and carry out inspections of manufacturing facilities to assess compliance with GMP and the relevant application for a Certificate of Suitability to the monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia (CEP), mainly in Asia;
  • draft and edit inspection reports; communicate with companies on inspection findings; advise on necessary actions in the event of a public health risk;
  • follow up on actions, including evaluating the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented by manufacturers to address deficiencies identified during inspections; monitor progress and work according to established timelines;
  • collaborate with inspectors from national supervisory authorities and other international organisations;
  • draft and review proposals for technical guidelines and policies prior to submission to the relevant groups;
  • promote the work of the Department and the EDQM by participating in conferences, seminars, webinars and/or international working groups in the area of GMP
