The Clausius-Institute of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Bonn invites applications for a 

W3 - Professorship (tenured) in Physical Chemistry

to be filled as soon as possible.

Successful candidates are expected to broadly cover Physical Chemistry and to be internationally renowned in NMR spectroscopy and if applicable also DNP spectroscopy with a focus on biomolecular dynamics. Experience in the acquisition of third-party funding and active participation in planned collaborative research initiatives, e.g. on Dynamics and Function of Nucleic Acid Complexes is expected.

Teaching is an integral part of the professorial position and teaching in German and English language in all stages of the study courses is required. An appropriate time and support will be provided. Active participation in academic governance is expected.

The general conditions of employment are according to § 36 of the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (Hochschulgesetz des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen).
