BSc (Hons) Chemistry

Core modules within this course include understanding inorganic, organic and physical chemistry and builds towards a research project in the final year in which you will be using the recent research literature to inform your studies.

BSc (Hons) Environmental Chemistry

This course is designed to give you the core principles and techniques of chemistry and analysis, along with an understanding and appreciation of environmental management and solutions to the global problems we now face. There is the option of an environmental expedition in your second year and the degree culminates in an environmental research project which stretches across both semesters.

BSc (Hons) Chemistry with foundation year

This four-year course introduces you to the world of chemistry, applying the principles across a wide subject area. You will also gain study and mathematical skills for science- from scientific writing and time management to mathematical skills and independent study.  This is designed for those who don’t have the qualifications or who are returning to study.
