Do you wish to further develop your scientific skills in the procurement of chemical and biological substances? Are you a good communicator, with a sense of client and service orientation? If so, we are looking for somebody like you to contribute to one of the core activities of the EDQM, the sourcing of candidate materials for the establishment of European Pharmacopoeia reference standards.

To apply these standards the EDQM stocks and supplies around 3000 different reference substances mainly for the tests and assays to be carried out in accordance with the official methods prescribed in the European Pharmacopoeia. Similarly, the guidance and standards in the areas of blood transfusion, organ, tissue and cell transplantation, pharmaceutical care and consumer health issues such as cosmetics and food packaging materials are recognised throughout the world.
