NEBOSH qualified Health and Safety specialist required for role with a chemicals manufacturer in South Wales

Health and Safety Lead (NEBOSH)

Salary - £35,000-£38,000

SRG is working with a world leading manufacturer of agrochemicals and nutrition products. Based in the South Wales/Swansea area, they have recently had an opening for a qualified health and safety professional. This job would be ideal for someone with a NEBOSH qualification with previous experience in health and safety. You will be responsible for all health and safety related duties relating to COSHH in a manufacturing setting.

Role Description

• Management of hazards and conducting risk assessments under COSHH guidelines
• Ensure compliance with company regulations
• Develop and implement Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) for manufacturing operations
• Manage category 2 laboratory registration with the health and safety executive
• Complying with industry regulations and standards
• Forecasting material demands to meet manufacturing requirements

Requirements

• NEBOSH qualification in health and safety
• Industrial knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 3 years' experience working within manufacturing or laboratory environments
• Full right to work in the UK
