Freelance Question Writers – Chemistry Subject Matter Experts

Medify is recruiting multiple experienced chemistry subject matter experts with excellent written communication skills to write tutorial and assessment material on a flexible freelance basis.

The Role

In this role, you will:

• Devise scientific passages based on an advanced area of chemistry which can be accessed with an understanding of first year undergraduate topics.
• Write multiple choice questions to test comprehension of your passage which require reasoning skills and critical thinking.
• Craft detailed explanations to explain the logic and science in a way that significantly contributes to learning.

Pay, Hours and Location

• The standard pay rate for this role is £20 per hour.
• You would need to be available to work between 5 and 15 hours per week. Once trained, you will have autonomy over your schedule, increasing or decreasing your output according to your availability.
• This is a fully remote position for which you will need a computer and internet access.

Requirements

• Applicants must be graduates of chemistry.
• Candidates should have a thorough understanding of undergraduate chemistry.
• The ability to articulate thought processes clearly and effectively is essential.
• Experience of writing educational or assessment materials is highly desirable.
