I'm currently looking for a Head of Quality to join a world leading vaccine business based in the West Lothian region. As the Head of Quality you will be responsible for driving and implementing change within the Quality team, as well as the following:
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Head of Quality will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Drive and oversee the self-inspection and external audit systems, ensuring the systems and processes for audits are delivered to ensure the business maintains compliance.
Work with other senior QA management peers on site, to develop, monitor, improve and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with EU & FDA Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Distribution Practice for the manufacture and testing of pharmaceutical products.
Actively contribute to deliver the Quality strategy for the delivery of business effective compliant systems to support the operations and site processes. Support and drive the migration from paper based systems to electronic.
Oversee deviations, changes and CAPAs related to materials, facilities, processes or procedures, driving forward and ensuring that they are being escalated and addressed in an appropriate and timely manner for required departments.
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Head of Quality, we're looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant and proven experience in a Quality Operational leadership role.
2. Proven industry experience operating within a GMP environment working to GMP standards.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience of driving and implementing change, improvement tools and Quality improvements.
