Specific research opportunities with this position include the Munida transect time-series (running 25 years), the National Ocean Acidification Observing Network (20 coastal stations), autonomous pCO2 measurement on the R/V Tangaroa, and access to the New Zealand fiords.

The successful applicant will be required to support the University’s commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi as outlined in the University’s Māori Strategic Framework, and to greater partnership with Pacific Island nations as outlined in the University’s Pacific Strategic Framework.
