Senior Chemist - Organic Chemistry - South West

An opportunity to make an impact in antibiotic treatments as a Senior Chemist has become available in the Gloucestershire region. As a Senior Chemist you will be responsible for designing and developing synthetic routes to target molecules. Key Responsibilities as a Senior Chemist

• Optimise synthetic procedures to reach desired target molecules
• Synthesise and characterise a library of compounds
• Characterisation of compounds using LC-MS and NMR
• Scale up of synthetic routes

Key Requirements for a Senior Chemist

• PhD in Chemistry or a closely related subject with your research focusing on Synthetic Organic Chemistry
• Strong understanding of organic chemistry
• Experience using analytical techniques such as LC-MS
• Prior experience in bioconjugation
