We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Manager to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Staffordshire area. As the Senior Sales Manager you will provide strategic direction for sales of liquid and semi-solid processing systems to the global pharmaceutical sector.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Senior Sales Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will be the main leading interface for the business, acting as an ambassador for the company internationally, by positively presenting the firm's capabilities and technical solutions.

2. The Senior Sales Manager will generate site visit reports and verbally communicate customer requirements to engage the pre-engineering team to prepare a successful request for quotation.

3. Another duty will be to identify potential future markets and customers with development of strategies to approach new markets and customers. You will also develop and manage the pharmaceutical sales pipeline in line with the annual sales plan.

4. It will be essential to lead commercial and contractual negotiations to completion, in accordance with company rules as well as develop and maintain a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Sales Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A working knowledge and proven industry experience in a Pharmaceutical development role is essential.

2. It is crucial to have a firm grasp of Pharmaceutical legislative and compliance requirements as well as the ability to develop/execute a strategic plan into the associated commercial benefit.

3. An awareness of AutoCAD and other bespoke engineering software packages would be beneficial.
