Protein Scientist

An Oxford-based biotechnology company is seeking a Protein Scientist with expertise in protein expression and purification to join their team focussed on the development of novel therapeutics. This is a great opportunity for an established Research Associate to take the step up into a Scientist role.

As a Protein Scientist, you will be involved the development of the company's protein production pipeline, responsible for the design of DNA for expressing protein constructs, and the expression and purification of recombinant proteins.

Requirements for this role include:

• Degree in protein biochemistry or related field;
• Proven experience in the expression and purification of proteins, ideally from mammalian or insect expression systems;
• Experience using molecular biology techniques to produce DNA.
