R&D Cosmetic Scientist - Suffolk

Salary - Negotiable depending on experience.



We are looking for a R&D Cosmetic scientist to join a great family feel company. A great opportunity for an experienced R&D Cosmetic Scientist within the cosmetics and personal care industry has opened.



The role:
  • Overseeing day to day running of the lab
  • Ensure standards are met throughout the lab.
  • Improve and creating current and new SOPs.
  • Working on new formulations for clients
  • EPD on current formulations
  • Work cross functionally across all teams.
  • Creating formulations to customer briefs
  • Market research and trend analysis
  • Managing risks and timelines
  • Arrange and prepare to test and trial samples
  • Reviewing artwork
  • Ensuring products meet regulations and compliance.


Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years formulation and development experience in cosmetics and personal care
  • Cosmetic Science/ Chemistry degree or related
  • Knowledge of Cosmetic regulations
