Formulation Chemist

Senior Formulation Chemist, Lancashire

Our client is looking for a formulation chemist to join their team in Lancashire. You will be the chemist responsible for the formulation of a range of new chemical and microbial cleaning products. The role will also involve testing impacts of these products on the environment and producing new formulations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing day-to-day formulation research and development operations
• Developing and formulating new chemical and microbiological products
• Developing laboratory experiments to test chemical formulations
• Maintaining records of experimental results
• General laboratory health and safety and risk assessments

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Minimum 2 years formulation experience in either chemicals, cosmetics, biocides or a similar industry sector
• A minimum BSc degree level in chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
• Past chemistry lab experience with a knowledge of COSHH
• An understanding of UK environmental regulations
• Full right to work in the UK
• In the North Lancashire area or willing to relocate
