​We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cellulose research, with a focus on developing new products and applications for cellulose-based materials. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.

​What will you do?

You will conduct research and development of cellulose-based materials and products. You will Investigate and optimize the processing of cellulose to produce new and improved materials for cutting-edge projects biocatalysis and cell culture. You will analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare reports and presentations.

In this role, you will be working autonomously, in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. You will lead a small team with a chemist and a biotechnologist working full-time on these projects with you. You will be ready to enjoy the flow of challenges in our day-to-day activities, capable of finding a reward in an accelerating list of priorities, working shoulder to shoulder in a friendly and committed team. Our business is growing and it offers multiple opportunities for a fast career progression. You will work with our clients and participate to conferences. You will contribute to the commercialization of new environmentally friendly ingredients to reduce our clients' reliance on plastic materials.

​To succeed in this role, you will need:

• PhD in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.

• Strong background of minimum 3 years in cellulose research.

• Experience in the development of cellulose-based materials and products.

• Experience with analytical techniques such as NMR, IR, XRD, and microscopy.

• Proven track record of research in the area of cellulose, as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
