Graduate Analytical Chemist - Essex

An opportunity for a graduate with an analytical focussed university project. Our client is a speciality chemicals researcher in the Essex area looking to expand their team this summer. The role will consist of analysing samples with HPLC, LC-MS and other chromatographic techniques in a GLP lab.

Responsibilities Include:

• Sample preparation and analysis with HPLC and LC-MS
• Adherence to GLP standards
• Developing and validating analytical methods
• Ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget
• Mentoring junior staff (depending on experience level)

You Will Need:

• A minimum BSc degree in chemistry or a similar scientific discipline
• Hands on experience with HPLC, LC-MS and/or GC
• Experience working in a GLP lab would be preferable but not essential
• Computer literacy
• Full right to work within the UK
