Study Director (GLP)

GLP Study Director - Essex

An exciting opportunity for a study director or an experienced analytical chemist looking to move into the speciality chemical industry. Our client is looking for a GLP Study Director to join their team in Essex. The role will consist of directing analytical GLP studies in the agrochemical industry and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting analytical studies with specialist chromatographic equipment such as HPLC and LC-MS
• Analysing and reporting the results of studies relating to metabolism
• Developing protocols in line with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Ensuring that experimental data is accurately recorded and reported
• Training more junior members of staff
• Ensuring studies are carried out safely

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience as a study director or senior analytical chemist within the agrochemical industry or similar (biochemical or pharmaceutical may also be suitable)
• Experience working in GLP accredited labs would be preferable but not essential
• A minimum BSc in chemistry or a similar scientific background
• Effective communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Full right to work within the UK
