CK Group are recruiting for an Analytical Chemist to join a testing company at their site based near Stamford on a full time, permanent basis.
The Company:
Our client is a leading, independent provider of analytical services to the agriculture industry and they offer real time analysis results. They are relaxed yet professional work place and now have an opening for an experienced chemist to join their team. The company offers a salary between £25,000-£33,000pa depending on experience.
Location:
The Analytical Chemist will be based at the company's site near Stamford, easily commutable from surrounding areas such as Leicester, Oakham, Corby etc. The company is located in an environment with stunning surroundings and breath-taking views.

Your main duties will be:
- GAFTA Analysis of global commodities (Oil, Protein, Fibre, Minerals, Fatty Acids etc.)
- FOSFA Analysis of global oilseeds (Oil, Rancidity tests, FAMES, Melting Points etc.)
- Method development/ Improvement via ICP-OES measurement for Waste waters
- Compliance to ISO 17025 standards
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven industrial analytical experience - essential
- Familiarity with complying to ISO17025 standards - essential
- Demonstrable ICP experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of ICP-OES, GC, HPLC and other general laboratory methods a significant advantage.
