Are you an enthusiastic Development Chemist looking for a new role to build on your skills within a great working environment? If working on high performance materials in the search for sustainable polymer solutions interests you, then this opportunity may just be for you.
This is a 12 month FTC role. But you can do a lot in 12 months, perhaps even help us change #tomorrowsworld.
About the Role
As a Development Chemist you will join a team of 5 colleagues, focussing on designing, planning and delivering experimental projects to develop new polymeric materials and optimise existing processes and products.
This role uses a range of analytical tools to evaluate polymer properties and communicate results with recommendations that can influence the future work direction of the department.
We believe this is a truly exciting vacancy for someone who is enthusiastic at the prospect of performing research work on high performance materials, that enables sustainable polymer solutions to change #tomorrowsworld.
Add to the fact that you will be working in a friendly and professional lab environment, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who have a degree in a relevant chemistry /material science/relevant scientific discipline. Beyond your qualifications, you will have practical chemistry skills within a lab environment and be a strong team player with an equally strong analytical capability. You'll also be a solid communicator with good interpersonal skills too.
Our Offering to You
We offer a competitive base salary and enrolment in our Company bonus scheme, as well as competitive pension scheme with employer contributions up to 14%. However, our employee offering doesn’t stop there!
This role is site based but we are supportive of flexible working, offer private medical insurance and give employees 29 days annual leave per annum + bank holidays with the option of purchasing up to 2 additional weeks leave too.
The perks are great, but so is our culture - and you can read more about it below.
