HRS are working with a world leading drug discovery business who's contributions to innovative technologies have consistently aided in the development of life changing pharmaceutical products across multiple therapeutic areas. Operating globally, they are currently seeking to hire an experienced project manager with a background within Biopharma or Drug discovery to lead the UK team of project managers.
This will be an ideal role for an individual with a strong knowledge of the drug discovery / Biopharma environments and established project / product management experience.
Key duties and responsibilities:
As the UK project leader, you will lead a team of Drug Discovery project managers to manage the delivery of multi-target, multi-site drug discovery programs. Key duties will include:
1. Directly managing the UK Drug Discovery project team (7-9), to support the delivery of complex projects, managing resources & high standards.
2. Management of internal revenue projections & reporting.
3. Chair frequent reviews, tracking deviations from projections and planning future actions.
4. Identify realistic team objectives and contribute to developing a multi-year PM development plan
Role requirements:
1. Relevant degree or higher qualification within a relevant life Science discipline.
2. Proven industry experience of project or product management within a drug discovery or Biopharma setting, alongside relevant qualifications (PMI, Prince2 etc.)
3. The capability to lead with confidence, inspire & motivate alongside excellent communication & organisational skills.
