Laboratory Assistant

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading adhesives and sealants manufacturer for a Laboratory Assistant to join their site based in Worcestershire. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will assist in the testing of products and raw materials and assist in exciting development projects alongside the Technical Manager.

To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum BSc in Chemistry or related subject and be somebody who is willing and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced working environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join a growing business and gain experience in an industrial laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with testing of finished products and alternative raw materials to internal and customer standards
• Assist in development projects alongside the Technical Manager
• To assist the Sales team including answering of technical queries, and assist with customer and supplier complaint investigations

Knowledge and Experience:

• A minimum BSc in Chemistry or related subject
• A good team working approach with an excellent attention to detail
• Experience in the adhesives & sealants field would be advantageous
