AAV Production Scientist (4-6 months)

I am recruiting for an AAV Production Scientist for a Cambridge based Biotechnology company on a 4-6 month basis. As an AAV Production Scientist you will be involved in establishing the AAV production in adherent system for critical serotypes, purifying viral preparations, titre by qPCR, using SDS-PAGE and Western Blotting to assess virus purity and the functionality of the viral preparations will be done by cell transduction assay.

The successful candidate will have experience in:

• Setting up AAV production and titration
• Viral vectors
• Tissue culture (passaging, transfections and cell based assays)
• Molecular biology techniques (Western Blot and qPCR)
