Role: Product Development & Compliance Specialist - Food / FMCG

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000

Science Solutions Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Food / FMCG expert to join our clients ever growing company based in Liverpool. You will have experience in New Product Development of Food Products, an excellent understanding of ingredients, manufacturing process and compliance GMP and HACCP.

Role:

• Responsible for products regulatory, quality and safety requirements.
• Co-ordinate activity around regulatory, ingredients and new/existing products across the factory.
• Validate and establish finished product specifications, regulatory submissions and declaration of different products to market.
• Formulation for new products ensuring are compliant to market submission.
• Stability studies projects on NPD projects and products.
• Ensure good attention to detail when adding products to the database.
• CAPA investigations involvement.
• Approval new suppliers / products of raw materials

Person:

• Good knowledge of finished food products, manufacturing process and food ingredients
• Degree in Science or similar
• Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Certificates
