Senior QC Shift Analyst

CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Shift Quality Control Analyst to join a leading global speciality chemical company, at their site in Daventry on a permanent basis. This is a shift based role with rotating weekly shifts of 6am-2pm and 12pm-8pm, working Monday to Friday.

This role is located in Daventry, Northamptonshire.

Senior Shift Quality Control Analyst Role:
You will report to the Quality & Food Safety Manager and be responsible for a small team of QC shift analysts. You will need self-application in the role of main technical specialist and trouble-shooter for the QC shift and will organise the QC work programme during the shift.

Your main duties will be to:
- Provide QC analysis of raw materials, finished products and intermediates.
- Maintain accurate records of these analyses, and communicate them to both the internal and external customers.
- Be responsible for all analytical equipment used on site; managing maintenance, calibration and Performance Verification on behalf of the group.

Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will:
- Be degree qualified in Chemistry or a similar discipline or equivalent experience.
- Beneficial, but not essential, to have 2 or more years industrial experience working in a hands-on analytical role with good experience of instrumental techniques.
