Laundry Technical Sales



A family run business with 46 years' experience, located in South Derbyshire. We are a UK manufacturer of infection control, commercial laundry, catering and industrial maintenance chemicals with our customer base reaching throughout the UK, Europe and Middle East.

If you're a business to business sales professional with Laundry Technical experience, then this role could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We pride ourselves on our reliability and our passion for excellent customer service, we are constantly developing and producing life-changing, and in some instances life-saving products.

The role is working nationwide, managing existing national key accounts and identifying new opportunities in the Commercial Laundry Sector. You'll need to be able to build and maintain strong relationships and hit the ground running from day one.



The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of working within the Commercial Laundry Sector with Technical knowledge of dosing systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar role, with a strong commercial understanding of the manufacturing environment.
  • Identifying new business sales opportunities and converting these to sales.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to operate in a stand-alone position.
  • A good level of financial awareness, strategic thinking, independence and resilience.
  • Manage your own diary including strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, be a self-starter and possess a proven track record, somebody who can operate at all levels.
  • Results driven and able to work towards regular target achievement.
  • Great customer account management experience.
  • Commitment and hungry for job satisfaction.
  • Able to interact with a wide variety of customers.
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability for potential overseas travel.




Reporting to our Commercial Manager you'll have the freedom to work creatively and lead interesting development projects working closely with the laboratory, marketing and the commercial team.



In return, we offer a competitive salary, company car and other benefits. Office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30am - 5:00pm, with a 3:00pm finish on Friday's - however, due to the nature of this role hours will be flexible.
