A leading global provider of Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services on a wide range of products, materials, processes and services and products for a diverse set of end markets, where failure in service is simply not an option. Based in Manchester.



The Role

As the Senior QA Officer you will be reporting to the QA Manager, you are an essential member of the QA team and responsible for supporting a compliant and quality focused organisation. This includes the functional maintenance of the quality management system (QMS), maintaining and developing relationships cross functionally and enabling continuous improvement of processes in GLP/GMP accredited Laboratories.



Key Responsibilities

• Primary contact for operational staff seeking Quality Assurance (QA) assistance.
• Maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Generation, Review and approval of relevant GMP documentation
• Assist in the creation and implementation of Quality processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and training material
• Maintain, monitor and disseminate QA KPI metrics
• Ensuring timely and adequate release of compliant analysis and reporting in accordance with regulatory and site-specific authorisations
• Support the management of customer and regulatory audits
• Lead internal audits and audit write up

Skills / Qualifications

• Sound working knowledge of GLP, GMP and ISO 9001 / 17025 / 10993 essential
• Life Sciences degree or equivalent
• Direct quality assurance experience, preferably in a fast-paced analytical laboratory or similar environment
• Experience of Quality Assurance within GLP/GMP accredited environments
• Experience of cross functional interaction and influencing
