Job Details
A biotechnology company based in Hertfordshire is seeking a Bioconjugation Scientist to join their team focused on the development of novel cancer therapeutics. You will need a strong background in protein chemistry and protein analysis and ideally have experience working in a similar role.
As a Bioconjugation Scientist, you will perform antibody-small molecule conjugations, perform post-conjugation purification using a wide range of chromatographic techniques, and develop new analytical methods to study antibody-drug conjugates post-purification.
Essential requirements for this role:
- Degree-level qualification in Chemistry, ideally with a PhD in a relevant subject;
- Industrial experience in a similar role;
- Practical experience and understanding of protein purification and characterisation techniques such as AKTA, HPLC, SEC, TFF, and LC-MS;
- Ability to work to tight deadlines to screen/scale-up sample preparation
