Analytical Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Analytical Scientist to join a company in the healthcare industry at their site based in Stevenage on a contract basis for 6 months.

Salary:
£21.20 per hour PAYE

Location:
Stevenage. This facility provides world-class research into developing and supplying innovative medicines, vaccines and healthcare products. There is plenty of on-site parking with eating venues and gardens.

Analytical Scientist Role:
• Perform trace quantitative testing, particularly using LC-MS and LC-MS/MS of drug substance and drug product using established analytical methods
• Preparation and management of samples (powder, tablets etc) for analysis
• Support the development of analytical methods for testing drug substance and drug product
• Own and manage interactions with key stakeholders, e.g. communication, data/information flow, shipment of materials etc.

Your Background:
• Degree or similar qualification in a science based subject and/or relevant industrial experience
• Able to follow SOPs and have an understanding of the requirements of a GMP analytical laboratory.
• IT skills with knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills.
