Job Details


  • To help the Category Team on the effective development of our all-year round products
  • To assist the Category team with daily administrative tasks.

Key points:

  • Product Development: Assist the category team with daily administrative tasks as well as contributing to the development of new and existing product ranges from commencement all the way through to completion, ensuring time schedules, quality and fiscal KPI's are kept to.

  • Project Management: Help the team by ensuring that the correct documentation processes and procedures are adhered to with all elements of the project relating to:

  • Time-Plan Management: Assist the team in maintaining project time-plans and report any abnormalities which could affect the completion of projects.

  • Profitability: Acquire cost prices and input into the correct template as applicable, whilst abiding by margin expectations.

  • Compliance: Liaise with our Technical team to confirm compliance with current legislation and individual customer requirements in regard of formulation, packaging and testing.

  • Specifications: Produce full and precise product specifications for our suppliers and the Quality Team

  • Product Code Creation: Utilising the in-house product database, generate product codes in accordance with the established guidelines.

  • Sampling: Liaise with suppliers to ensure that required samples are delivered in a timely fashion in accordance with the time-plan.

  • Stakeholder Approvals: Assist the Product Manager to guarantee the correct SLG approval processes are adhered to.

  • Continuous Improvement: Work closely with colleagues' business wide on the progress and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to support customer service and improve innovation, quality and reliability as well as cost and lead-time reduction.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Fully familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel &
  • A passion for product development and project management would be ideal.
  • Experience of working in a cross functional matrix environment also ideal.
  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent
