Job Details
A diagnostic biotechnology company based in York are looking for a HCPC registered biomedical scientist with a background in clinical biochemistry.
As a HCPC registered biomedical scientist you will;
- Use your expertise to help the company grow and support the team by developing, and introducing new testing services;
- Go to trade shows and health events representing the company;
- Support the laboratory with immunoassay testing, blood sampling, troubleshooting and quality control;
- Work closely with the director, laboratory manager and operations manager.
Requirements for this role:
- MSc or PhD in a relevant biological discipline with experience in Clinical Biochemistry;
- HCPC Registered;
- Experience carrying out hormone assays, lipid and cholesterol screening, vitamin screening or endocrinology;
- Ideally experience in health testing, nutrition and scientific writing.
