Cell Biologist

A biotechnology company based in Hertfordshire is seeking a Cell Biologist to join their team focused on the development of novel cancer therapeutics.

You will need a strong background in cancer research and immunology and have previous experience working in a similar role, and will be responsible for the development and execution of cell-based and immunological assays in support of the company's therapeutic development.

Essential requirements for this role:

• Degree in cell biology or related discipline, ideally with PhD,
• Proven experience working within similar role, ideally within industry;
• Expertise in cell culture (primary cells and mammalian cells), and experience with cell-based assays such as cytotoxicity, proliferation, and apoptosis assays;
• Experience with ELISA, Western blot, SDS-PAGE, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry.
