Job Details

A Cambridge-based biotechnology company is seeking a bioconjugation scientist to join their team focussed on the development of antibody-drug conjugates.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of antibody-small molecule and polymer conjugations using a range of linker chemistries and perform post-conjugation purification using a wide range of chromatographic techniques, to support the company's ongoing ADC projects.
Requirements for this role:
- BSc/MSc in chemistry/protein biochemistry with subsequent experience in an industrial environment, or recent PhD in a relevant discipline;
- Experience with bioconjugation of small molecules and polymers to antibodies and proteins;
- Experience with antibody/protein purification using AKTA systems and TFF;
- Some experience with characterisation techniques such as column chromatography (HIC, SEC, IEX), UV-Vis, microfluidics, and LC-MS.
