The ALBORADA Drug Discovery Institute (ADDI) is seeking a talented Medicinal Chemistry Project Leader to join its team.

The ADDI is part of a network of world-class Drug Discovery Institutes funded by Alzheimer's Research UK and prosecutes drug discovery projects from target to in vivo proof of concept and beyond for novel targets in the neurodegeneration therapeutic area. The applicant will have proven experience of working with biology colleagues and leaders to influence project strategy and successfully design cellular and in vivo experiments. The successful applicant will be active in the chemistry lab and have excellent medicinal and synthetic chemistry skills, a flair for problem solving and a history of leadership. They will likely have experience of managing line reports and/or external contractors. Moreover, they will have excellent communication, management and organisational skills, and a willingness to work as part of a team in order to drive forward collaborative projects.
