USP Process Development Scientist

I am currently supporting our client based in London with the recruitment of a Upstream Processing Development Scientist. The aim of the role is to support the USP department with the design and tech transfer of manufacturing processes including cell culture, AAV production scale-up and optimization.



Responsibilities of the role:-

• Operate bioreactors to support USP optimization and material generation for DSP development and characterization.
• Design and support lab experiments with an aim to scale-up and improve manufacturing operations and work with DSP to perform experiments, lab cleanliness and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure of the optimzation of manufacturing unit operations including stirred tank bioreactor production, fed batch, depth filtration.
