My client is looking for a synthetic organic chemist to join their team producing nanoparticles. As part of the production team, you'll be responsible for synthesising organic nanoparticles and quantum dots for use in a variety of technologies and applications. The Role;
- Run lab and production scale synthesis of organic nanoparticles
- Synthesis and prepare precursor materials
- Perform analysis of materials to determine purity, using;
- IR/UV spectroscopy, TGA, GCMS, Photoluminescence
- Work with the Quality team to ensure product meets customer requirements
Requirements
- A degree in chemistry or related subject
- Excellent laboratory and wet chemistry skills
- Good IT literacy and record keeping skills
