Synthetic Organic Chemist - Runcorn

My client is looking for a synthetic organic chemist to join their team producing nanoparticles. As part of the production team, you'll be responsible for synthesising organic nanoparticles and quantum dots for use in a variety of technologies and applications. The Role;

• Run lab and production scale synthesis of organic nanoparticles
• Synthesis and prepare precursor materials
• Perform analysis of materials to determine purity, using;
  • IR/UV spectroscopy, TGA, GCMS, Photoluminescence
• Work with the Quality team to ensure product meets customer requirements

Requirements

• A degree in chemistry or related subject
• Excellent laboratory and wet chemistry skills
• Good IT literacy and record keeping skills
