Synthetic Chemist - South East

The Synthetic Chemist role is ideal for someone with prior lab-based experience in organic chemistry, or an upcoming graduate looking for their first synthetic organic chemist role in industry and looking to move to an ambitiously growing organisation. The successful appointment will be able to contribute to commercially sensitive projects for new drug discovery technology, and build upon both synthetic and analytical chemistry skillsets for excellent career progression potential.



Your day to day duties as a Synthetic Chemist will be:

• Researching and developing synthetic routes on lab scale
• Use of common analytical and purification methods towards high-specification intermediates
• Research into new revenue streams and chemistry approaches

You will be an ideal candidate with this background:

• A degree with project work in a synthetic, organic chemistry field
• Some track record in synthetic chemistry in the laboratory or on plant
• A good team-working approach
