Molecular Biology Research Associate (2-year FTC)

A Cambridge-based biotechnology company is seeking a Research Scientist with experience in molecular biology to join their antibody discovery team on a 2-year fixed-term contract.

In this role, you will be part of a team focused on the development of novel anti-cancer therapies. You will be help build libraries of antibodies for use in phage and yeast display platforms, and will perform in vitro selections of antibodies using phage and yeast display, and also contribute to the development and improvement of the company's display platforms.

Requirements for this role:

• BSc/MSc, ideally with postgraduate experience;
• Experience with molecular biology techniques such as cloning, antibody sequence analysis, mRNA extraction and cDNA preparation;
• Experience in lead isolation of antibodies using phage or yeast display would be an advantage.
