Graduate Analytical Chemist - South East England

Our client is looking for an analytical chemist to join their team in the South East of England, commutable from North London, Hertfordshire and Essex. The purpose of the role will be to aid the analytical team with a range of analytical equipment (such as LC-MS) in a GLP setting.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Using analytical equipment such as LC-MS and HPLC for analysis of samples and products
  • Preparation of samples for analysis in the lab
  • Ensuring tasks are completed safely with accordance to COSHH risk assessments
  • Performing routine maintenance and validation of the machinery in the lab
  • General housekeeping and health and safety in the lab


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A minimum BSc in chemistry or a similar field
  • A strong understanding of laboratory health and safety compliance, preferably with an understanding
  • Experience in a lab-based industrial placement will be extremely beneficial but not essential
  • Good people skills
  • Computer literacy
