R&D Associate - Pharmaceutical/FMCG - Hybrid Working



Science Solutions are currently working with a Global Healthcare Company recruiting for an R&D Associate with strong experience of product development within the pharmaceutical, FMCG or Healthcare sector to oversee the due-diligence of development/manufacturing of technologies and products by third parties.

In this R&D Associate position you will be based in Hull with the option for Hybrid working and will have experience of liaising with third part development and manufacturing facilities, performing feasibility studies and assessing technical capability to deliver upon new and existing projects. To be successful in the position you will have a background in product development/R&D and also have significant experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities.

• Provide support to deliver projects/programs, working directly with the Business Development team (and/or procurement).
• Technology/partnership scouting to build capabilities within intimate wellness and personal care
• Support and contribute to the Business Case assessment, ensure legal documentation (confidentiality etc) is in place.
• General Technical evaluation of product(s), and their claim substantiation.
• Support Due Diligence activity of product technical files, following standard SOP's where relevant.

Key Requirements

• Relevant experience within product development role within Pharmaceutical/FMCG environment.
• Strong project management skills would be an advantage
• Knowledge and hands on experience working on products with one or more different regulatory classifications. For example, Medical Devices, OTC Pharmaceuticals, Personal Care Products, Cosmetics, Supplements, General Products.
• Experience in numerous product format types such as Gels, Solutions, Capsules, Tablets, Sprays, Polymers would be an advantage.
