Our client is a mid-scale Contract Research Organisation, based in Alderley Edge, who have seen significant growth over the past few years. There are multiple opportunities in this company for chemists with a PhD background in Synthetic or Medical Chemistry to join their expanding team at a range of levels – from lab based synthetic roles to project leaders.

What you’ll do:

Work within the synthesis team to develop intermediates and APIs for a variety of applications.
Carry out syntheses, using standard laboratory techniques, safely and in accordance to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
Update customers about their ongoing projects in a clear and professional manner.
 

Your background:

The successful candidate will be an innovative PhD graduate (or equivalent) in Synthetic or Medicinal Chemistry with experience in multi-step synthesis. They will be open and confident when presenting ideas and information and work well both in a team and independently.
