Material Scientist - Cheshire - Graphite Electrodes

My client is looking for a skilled Material Scientist to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a material scientist to join an SME in the Warrington area to help develop their technology. For this role you'll have outstanding knowledge of how graphite surfaces respond to electrochemical treatment, including oxidation of organic molecules on the surface.

The company is looking to develop and improve their exisiting product and add to their IP portfolio. If you're an experienced material scientist looking for a new challenge in 2022 this could be the job for you! The role involves;

• Working with the larger team to optimise the design of their mono and bi-polar cell reactors
• Constructing and developing electrodes and materials
• Electrochemically characterising the cell and it's reactions

A good knowledge of graphite, graphene, organic chemistry and oxidation mechanisms are all highly desirable.
