Medical Information Specialist

CK Group are recruiting for a Medical Information Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Welwyn Garden City on a contract basis till the end of 2022. The roles have been deemed as Inside IR35 so working options are PAYE via CK, or Umbrella Company only.

As a Medical Information Specialist you will be responsible for maximizing the potential of the pharmaceutical business in delivering value to all stakeholders both internally and externally through exceptional experiences where customers receive tailored, transparent information at the point of need.

The main purpose of the role will be to:
- Responds to scientific, technical and medical enquiries from external healthcare professionals, patients and members of the public in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and industry codes (e.g. ABPI, MHRA, PIPA).
- Ensuring global and external medical information requirements are translated into practical, compliant, customer centric solutions which deliver better outcomes for more patients faster.
- Support knowledge sharing and enable agile service improvement to deliver on global vision for medical information/engagement.

Your Background:
- A scientific degree is required.
- A good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and some experience working within a MI environment.
- Prior experience in solving complex MI issues that impact the chapter and/or wider business.
